MEMORY SHADES

Malcolm Litson is a multimedia artist and works with projection, lighting and sound. He has projected large-scale images onto many buildings including guerrilla projections onto the Houses of Parliament and onto architecture in Turin as part of the Biennale. In 2010, he was working with ‘The Light Surgeons’ the pioneering multimedia collective. Their latest project was an installation at the Museum of London called ‘LDN24’ which opened on 27 May 2010. Malcolm had produced the ambient soundtrack that featured as part of a giant LED clock in the newly revamped museum.

"As an artist, I am really looking forward to working at St. Luke’s Community Centre and in partnership with Islington Exhibits and Rowan Arts. It will be exciting to work with people from Islington to develop our creative lighting project.”

Event Information

Malcolm ran free workshops at St Luke's Centre, which gave participants a chance to create customised lampshades and experiment with Glow in the Dark/UV paint. The final light creations were displayed in an exhibition called ‘Memory Shades’.
